Emergency Extractions

We believe that a tooth extraction is the last resort.

As an alternative to an extraction we will always recommend Root Canal Therapy if the tooth can be restored to function, to retain the health, function and comfort of your mouth. Even if you have significant tooth decay, the tooth may be saved.

Tooth extraction has a number of unwanted and unnecessary side effects including misaligning and spreading of the teeth that can affect the look of your smile. Missing teeth can also have a dramatic effect on your ability to chew food effectively.

To avoid these risks a check-up every six months can be the answer.

You do understand the risks and you made a decision to have the tooth extracted, normal extraction or surgical extraction were needed then we will do our best to make as comfortable experience as possible. Feel free to contact us

Orthodontic Extractions

Orthodontic extraction is only needed when the space needed for having straight teeth is significantly affected by small bone length.

We do understand how difficult to go through this especially if you have been always looking after your teeth that’s why we will take all care needed to make sure this will be as comfortable as possible.

Extraction can be done under sleep dentistry by using either happy gas or penthrox or under general anaesthesia if you do request it.

We will discuss all that with you if you are not sure which way will be more comfortable for you.

Wisdome Teeth Extractions

Wisdom teeth or third molars are the last permanent teeth to erupt, hence they got the name wisdom from.

During your regular visits we will investigate the existence of third molars and check the possibility of them erupting, if eruption is not possibly then extraction can be indicated and it is better to be schedule at suitable time rather than waiting for symptoms.

Wisdom teeth may stay impacted or tilted and in most cases they may cause damage to the teeth and bone close to them that is why extraction can be indicated.

Extraction can be done under sleep dentistry by using either happy gas or penthrox or under general anaesthesia.

We will discuss all that with you before making such a decision.
